Take a minute to enjoy this devotional written and photo taken by our Senior Minister, Tim Hughes. "It is finished." His saving work was done. Maybe you've read descriptions of the crucifixion. You won't find those in the gospels. It amazes me at the brevity and finality of the gospel writers at some points. The words that crowds yelled, "Let him be crucified"; that's just one word in the Greek language. Easy for a crowd to yell. None of the gospel writers describe the crucifixion itself. They simply write, "they crucified him." It was a gruesome task and the soldiers carried it out. Over and over Jesus kept saying, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." He died so that anyone could be forgiven if they would come to Him. Amazing grace, how sweet the sound.

Our staff and many members are enjoying a night of fellowship and dinner while hearing updates on Life Centers, a mission we proudly support. Cornerstone believes in the right of life for all ages and are excited to continue partnering with this ministry!

As we move towards our goal, we continue to receive pledges for our Imagine Initiative. If you would still like to make a pledge, you may do so anytime between now and Sunday, December 2nd during our Sunday services. Over the past several years at Cornerstone, we have seen our Children's Ministry filled with new faces. A major part of this campaign is making sure we do our part to take care of the children God has put in our care, guiding them towards a future of faith and life-long commitment to God's church!
